During protein extraction and cell lysis, endogenous proteases can be rapidly released and degrade target proteins, potentially compromising experimental outcomes:

1. Rapid Protein Degradation

Upon sample removal or lysis, diverse classes of proteases, including serine, cysteine, aspartic, and metalloproteases, rapidly attack and degrade target proteins.

2. Deviation of Experimental Results

Degradation alters Western blot banding patterns, interferes with interaction analysis in co-immunoprecipitation assays, and leads to inaccurate mass spectrometric quantification, ultimately giving rise to misleading biological interpretations.

3. Labor-Intensive and Hazardous Self-Preparation
