Bovine papillomavirus type 1 (BPV-1) is a circular double-stranded DNA virus. In samples, it is often characterized by low copy number, uneven distribution of viral nucleic acid, and complex matrix components, which creates challenges for sample detection compatibility.

 

1. Difficulty in Recovering Target Nucleic Acid

In some samples, BPV-1 is present at low levels, and the target nucleic acid may be dispersed within a complex matrix. If pretreatment and extraction conditions are not appropriate, insufficient recovery may easily occur and affect subsequent detection.
