Product Overview

MRC-5 cells possess strong cellular homeostasis and high concentrations of intracellular components, and are also susceptible to interference from proteins, excipients, and process-related residual components, which makes the extraction of residual DNA particularly challenging.

1. Difficulty in Recovering Trace DNA

The content of MRC-5 residual DNA is usually low, and final detection can be affected by adsorption, degradation, or loss during the extraction process.

2. Significant Interference from Complex Matrices

Samples often contain proteins, salt ions, surfactants, and other impurities, which can easily affect the efficiency of DNA release and inhibit PCR amplification.

3. Insufficient Release of Residual DNA

Some DNA may bind to protein complexes, cell debris, or other components and is difficult to fully release under conventional processing conditions, resulting in lower detected values.

4. High Requirements for Result Stability

Trace nucleic acid detection requires high extraction consistency. If pretreatment fluctuates greatly, it can easily lead to insufficient reproducibility and affect sample comparison and quality evaluation.

Advantages

✅ High-Sensitivity Detection

Using the PCR-fluorescent probe method, it enables sensitive detection of low levels of MRC-5 residual DNA and is better suited to trace analysis requirements.

✅ High Specificity

Specific recognition of the target sequence helps reduce interference from the background of complex samples and improves detection accuracy.

✅ Applicable to Complex Sample Systems

It shows good adaptability to the complex matrices commonly found in biopharmaceutical products and can more stably reflect the level of residual DNA in samples.

✅ Good Reproducibility of Results

The MRC-5 Residual DNA Detection Kit from MtoZ Biolabs features a clear workflow and standardized methods, which help improve experimental efficiency and enhance the consistency of detection results.
