Exosomes are nanosized extracellular vesicles secreted by nearly all cell types under physiological and pathological conditions. These vesicles carry diverse bioactive cargoes, including proteins, lipids, mRNA, microRNA, long non-coding RNA, and DNA fragments, which reflect the state and origin of their parent cells. Increasing evidence has revealed that exosomes play essential roles in intercellular communication, disease progression, immune modulation, and tissue remodeling. Their ability to cross biological barriers and remain stable in biofluids makes them ideal candidates for biomarker discovery, therapeutic development, and drug delivery.

Recognizing the importance of disease-specific exosome research, MtoZ Biolabs has developed a dedicated Disease-Focused Exosome Research Service. Our Disease-Focused Exosome Research Service platform provides comprehensive support for the isolation, characterization, profiling, and functional analysis of exosomes derived from a wide range of disease models and patient samples. This service is designed to help researchers understand disease mechanisms, identify diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers, and develop exosome-based therapeutic strategies.

Disease-Focused Exosome Research Solution at MtoZ Biolabs
1️⃣Cancer Exosome Research Service
Cancer-derived exosomes promote tumor growth, immune evasion, angiogenesis, metastasis, and chemoresistance. We analyze the molecular cargo of tumor exosomes to identify biomarkers, explore intercellular signaling pathways, and assess therapeutic targets across various cancer types.
2️⃣Neurological Disease Exosome Research Service
Exosomes in neurological diseases such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Huntington’s disease, and stroke participate in both pathological propagation (e.g., amyloid-β, tau, α-synuclein) and neuroprotective signaling. Due to their ability to cross the blood-brain barrier and circulate in peripheral biofluids, brain-derived exosomes offer a noninvasive window into central nervous system (CNS) pathology. Our service enables researchers to track brain-derived exosomes, discover CNS biomarkers, and evaluate the therapeutic potential of engineered vesicles.
3️⃣Cardiovascular Disease Exosome Research Service
In cardiac pathology, exosomes regulate apoptosis, fibrosis, angiogenesis, and immune responses. We support cardiovascular studies by profiling disease-specific exosomes from cardiomyocytes, stem cells, and patient-derived samples to understand heart failure, myocardial infarction, and vascular disorders.
4️⃣Tissue Regeneration and Repair Exosome Research Service
Stem cell-derived exosomes have regenerative effects by modulating inflammation, fibrosis, and cellular proliferation. We offer analytical and functional solutions for characterizing therapeutic exosomes used in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine applications.
5️⃣Infectious Disease Exosome Research Service
Exosomes act as mediators of host-pathogen communication. They may carry viral proteins or RNAs, modulate immune responses, or facilitate pathogen spread. We enable in-depth investigation of pathogen-associated and host-derived exosomes in viral, bacterial, and parasitic infections.
6️⃣Kidney Disease Exosome Research Service
Exosomes have emerged as critical players in various kidney conditions, including acute kidney injury, lupus nephritis, diabetic nephropathy, renal fibrosis, and chronic kidney disease. They contribute to disease progression by mediating inflammatory and fibrotic signaling but also serve as reservoirs of diagnostic information. Urinary exosomes, in particular, provide accessible, noninvasive biomarkers that reflect renal cellular states. Moreover, their therapeutic potential is being explored for modulating renal repair and immune responses. Our service supports in-depth characterization and functional assessment of kidney-derived exosomes to advance biomarker discovery and targeted therapy development.
