    Peptidomics-Based Cosmetic Research Service

With the continuous advancement in the study of natural bioactive substances, the application of peptide compounds in cosmetics is becoming increasingly widespread. Peptides have demonstrated remarkable efficacy in functions such as anti-aging, antioxidant effects, whitening, repair, and anti-inflammation. Their small molecular size, excellent biocompatibility, and high safety profile make them a focal point in cosmetic R&D. However, identifying, screening, validating, and optimizing these functional peptides from natural samples require advanced analytical platforms and well-organized research workflows.

      FAQ

Q1: What advantages does peptidomics offer over proteomics in cosmetic efficacy research?

Peptidomics focuses on smaller peptides, especially those released by cells in response to external stimuli. These peptides exhibit higher bioactivity and skin permeability, providing direct insight into how skin cells respond to active ingredients. Compared to proteomics, peptidomics is more sensitive in detecting short-term regulatory and signaling molecule expressions, making it ideal for assessing the immediacy and molecular mechanisms behind whitening, anti-aging, and repair ingredients. MtoZ Biolabs' platform offers ultra-sensitive peptide quantification and modification analysis, ensuring more accurate active peptide screening.
