MtoZ Biolabs provides reverse-phase HPLC peptide purification service based on high-performance liquid chromatography separation technology, offering high-purity and scalable peptide separation and purification solutions for research and pharmaceutical clients. This service utilizes the hydrophobic interaction principle of reverse-phase chromatography and achieves high-resolution separation of peptide samples through an optimized mobile phase gradient elution. MtoZ Biolabs helps clients obtain structurally intact peptides with thorough impurity removal, providing high-quality purified products for drug development, structural characterization, and functional research.
Principle of Reverse-phase HPLC
Reverse-phase high-performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC) is a liquid separation method based on hydrophobic interactions.
Separation mechanism: The stationary phase is nonpolar-bonded silica gel (such as C18 or C8 columns), while the mobile phase is a polar solvent system. Nonpolar molecules have stronger interactions with the stationary phase and therefore show longer retention times during elution.
Control method: By adjusting the proportion of organic solvents (commonly acetonitrile or methanol), gradient elution is achieved to finely separate components of different hydrophobicity.
Advantages: High resolution, excellent reproducibility, and wide applicability, especially suitable for the analysis and purification of complex biomolecules such as peptides and proteins.
