Volatile Metabolomics Analysis Service
- Food Safety and Quality Control: Analyze volatile and non-volatile metabolites in food products to assess freshness, flavor composition, and overall quality control.
- Environmental Monitoring: Detect both volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and non-volatile metabolites in environmental samples to evaluate pollution levels and implement early environmental risk assessments.
- Disease Diagnosis: Through volatile and non-volatile metabolite profiling in exhaled breath and body fluids, identify biomarkers for early diagnosis of diseases such as lung cancer and liver disorders.
- Drug Metabolism Research: Evaluate the metabolic pathways of drugs by analyzing volatile and non-volatile metabolites, offering insights into drug metabolism and its biological effects.
Volatile metabolomics is the scientific study of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) within biological samples. These volatile metabolites, typically low-molecular-weight compounds generated through metabolic processes, possess the ability to evaporate and diffuse into the surrounding environment. Due to their presence both within and outside of organisms, volatile metabolites serve as key indicators of metabolic activity changes. This makes them invaluable across various fields, including food quality control, environmental monitoring, disease diagnosis, and microbial research. By utilizing volatile metabolomics analysis, researchers can accurately profile metabolite types, investigate metabolic pathways, and identify potential biomarkers.
