Isoliquiritigenin Analysis Service

Isoliquiritigenin is a naturally occurring flavonoid compound widely found in licorice (Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch.) and other leguminous plants. Its chemical structure consists of a 3-phenyl-1-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-2-propen-1-one core, which imparts unique biological activities and pharmacological properties. Liquiritigenin (LG) is also a flavonoid compound extracted from licorice (Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch.) with various biological activities, but it has some significant differences from isoliquiritigenin in terms of structure and physiological activities. Isoliquiritigenin has demonstrated various bioactivities in numerous studies, including anti-inflammatory, anti-diabetic, anticancer, antibacterial, and other effects, making it a compound with significant potential for medical applications.
