Gly-Ile Analysis Service

Gly-Ile consists of two amino acid residues: glycine and isoleucine. Glycine provides a simple hydrogen group, giving it high flexibility in the peptide chain, while isoleucine adds hydrophobicity and a branched structure. The molecular formula of Gly-Ile is C8H16N2O3, with a molecular weight of approximately 188.23 g/mol. Gly-Ile is a small peptide generated during protein degradation, and measuring its content can help evaluate protease activity, reflecting the digestive efficiency of the gastrointestinal tract in processing proteins. In patients with impaired digestive function, such as those with chronic pancreatitis or indigestion, detecting Gly-Ile levels can diagnose protease deficiency or functional decline. In the body, Gly-Ile is further metabolized into single amino acids or other metabolites by various enzymes. Analyzing the metabolites of Gly-Ile can further assess amino acid metabolism efficiency and conversion pathways, particularly in cases of branched-chain amino acid metabolism disorders or other amino acid-related pathological conditions.

    Service Advantages

    1. High Sensitivity and Accuracy

MtoZ Biolabs' liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) analysis platform can detect extremely low concentrations of Gly-Ile and its metabolites, which is particularly important for studying their minute changes in cells, tissues, and bodily fluids.

    2. High Specificity

By optimizing chromatographic separation conditions and mass spectrometry detection parameters, Gly-Ile and its various metabolites can be effectively distinguished in complex biological samples, minimizing interference from other endogenous or exogenous substances and improving detection specificity.

    3. Customized Analysis

Tailored analytical solutions can be designed according to research needs, providing personalized solutions for different biological samples and target molecules.
