Acetamide is a simple organic compound belonging to the amide class. Its chemical formula is C₂H₅NO, and it has a molecular weight of 59.07 g/mol. Acetamide is a compound that may pose certain toxic effects on humans and the environment, especially under conditions of long-term exposure or high concentrations. The acute toxicity of acetamide at high doses manifests as damage to the liver, kidneys, and nervous system, while long-term exposure may have carcinogenic potential. By detecting the concentration of acetamide in biological samples such as blood and urine, its potential health risks can be assessed and used for monitoring acute or chronic exposure. The metabolism of acetamide in the body primarily occurs in the liver, ultimately producing acetic acid and ammonia. By detecting acetamide metabolites in urine or blood, it can serve as a biomarker of individual exposure to acetamide, helping to assess the health impact of long-term exposure.

Service Advantages
1. High Sensitivity and Accuracy
MtoZ Biolabs' liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) analysis platform can detect extremely low concentrations of acetamide and its metabolites, which is particularly important for studying their minute changes in cells, tissues, and bodily fluids.
2. High Specificity
By optimizing chromatographic separation conditions and mass spectrometry detection parameters, acetamide and its various metabolites can be effectively distinguished in complex biological samples, minimizing interference from other endogenous or exogenous substances and improving detection specificity.
3. Customized Analysis
Tailored analytical solutions can be designed according to research needs, providing personalized solutions for different biological samples and target molecules.
