5'-Cytidylic Acid Analysis Service

    5'-Cytidylic acid, commonly known as cytidine monophosphate (CMP), is a nucleotide that plays an important role in cellular metabolism and biochemistry. Its chemical formula is C9H14N3O8P, with a molecular weight of approximately 323.2g/mol. CMP consists of three main components: the cytosine base, a pyrimidine nitrogenous base that is one of the four bases in RNA; ribose, a five-carbon sugar essential for the structural integrity of RNA; and a phosphate group, which is a single phosphate moiety attached to the 5' carbon of the ribose, giving the nucleotide its acidic properties. CMP is a fundamental building block in RNA synthesis, contributing to the formation of mRNA, tRNA, and rRNA.
