    1-methyladenosine Analysis Service

1-Methyladenosine (m1A) is a post-transcriptional modification of adenosine that occurs across various RNA species. The modification involves methylation at the nitrogen-1 position of adenine, which impacts RNA's structural conformation, stability, and its base-pairing properties. These changes play a crucial role in regulating RNA function, gene expression, and overall cellular processes. In particular, m1A has been found to influence translation efficiency and cellular response under stress conditions, contributing to the fine-tuning of protein synthesis.

The study of 1-methyladenosine is essential not only for understanding its role in normal physiological processes but also for exploring its implications in disease pathology. In recent years, m1A has garnered significant attention due to its association with human diseases, particularly cancer. 1-methyladenosine have been identified as potential tumor markers, with increased m1A levels linked to cancer progression. Research has shown that m1A can drive liver tumorigenesis by upregulating PPARδ expression, which regulates cholesterol metabolism, and by activating the Hedgehog signaling pathway.
