    NAm Analysis Service

NAm (Nicotinamide), with the chemical formula C₆H₆N₂O, is a form of vitamin B3. Its chemical structure includes a pyridine ring and an amine group, exhibiting hydrophilicity and biocompatibility. NAm is primarily sourced from foods such as meat, fish, nuts, and legumes, and can also be synthesized from the amino acid tryptophan in the body. In terms of biological activity, NAm plays a crucial role in cellular energy metabolism as a precursor to coenzymes NADH⁺ and NADP⁺, participating in redox reactions and DNA repair, and exhibiting anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Additionally, its metabolites, such as nicotinic acid and N-methyl nicotinamide, also possess biological activity, regulating metabolism and immune responses. Analyzing the content of NAm and its metabolites in plants and biological samples holds significant importance. This not only helps assess the nutritional value and health impacts of foods but also reveals their roles in plant growth, stress resistance, and human health. Understanding the variations in these components aids in optimizing agricultural production, improving nutritional intake, and formulating public health policies.
