    L-Phenylglycine Analysis Service

L-Phenylglycine is a naturally occurring non-proteinogenic amino acid with the chemical formula C₈H₉NO₂ and a molecular weight of 151.16 g/mol. The molecular structure of L-phenylglycine consists of a phenyl ring and an amino acetic acid group, where the amino acetic acid group is a derivative of glycine, and the phenyl group serves as its characteristic functional group. In biological systems, L-phenylglycine acts as an important intermediate metabolite, participating in various metabolic pathways, including amino acid metabolism and the degradation of aromatic compounds.

Analyzing L-phenylglycine and its metabolites can help elucidate its metabolic pathways in vivo and its role in the amino acid metabolic network. For instance, L-phenylglycine can be involved in the metabolism of aromatic amino acids; by examining its metabolic products, a better understanding can be achieved of the key steps and enzyme-catalyzed reactions in its metabolic pathways. In drug synthesis, L-phenylglycine is utilized as an intermediate, and its precise quantitative analysis is crucial. This ensures the accuracy and consistency of drug synthesis, aids in optimizing the production process, reduces the formation of by-products, and increases yield.
