    Hypotaurine Analysis Service

Hypotaurine is a sulfur-containing amino acid derivative structurally similar to taurine but with a sulfinic acid group instead of a sulfonic acid group, acting as an intermediate in the biosynthesis of taurine. Hypotaurine plays a protective role in the nervous system by safeguarding nerve cells and reducing oxidative damage. Measuring hypotaurine levels helps assess the health of the nervous system, providing data support for the early detection and management of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. In the liver, hypotaurine participates in various metabolic and detoxification processes, and its level changes can reflect liver function status. Measuring hypotaurine and its metabolites can assess liver detoxification capacity, providing a reference for the early diagnosis of liver function impairment.
